Community Risk Reduction

The Office of the State Fire Marshal is engaging in Community Risk Reduction (CRR) initiatives, aiming to reduce fire risk across North Dakota. The State Fire Marshal works with partners at the state and local level to offer outreach materials and events to educate the public on fire prevention.

Quarterly lunch and learns are held with local fire departments to discuss various issues and topics facing the fire service. 

CRR Kitchen Table

In 2023, the State Fire Marshal created the CRR Kitchen Table to assist in sharing CRR initiatives. The group is comprised of fire prevention officers across the state. If you are interested in joining the coalition, please contact us.
