Fireworks

Any person who sells fireworks at wholesale must be licensed by the Insurance Commissioner. To obtain a license, complete the application and submit the $250 fee. The annual license expires on December 31, regardless of issue date. Only a licensed wholesaler or retailer may import fireworks in the state.

Cigarettes

Cigarette manufacturers seeking to sell products in North Dakota are required to be certified by the State Fire Marshal's office. Manufacturers must pay $250 per style every three years to certify cigarettes.
